Along the “Copper Ore Path”, time and again you are also treated to panoramic views that further reveal the unique ensemble represented by “Nature & Humankind” here in the high mountains. A fascinating mountain world indeed – how on Earth did people every manage to establish a foothold here thousands of years ago? Without its wealth of natural resources, it is highly likely that early humans would have stayed in regions that were far more amenable to life. However, copper, iron, gold and precious stones drew them irresistibly to those rich deposits that were hidden away within the mountains.
